Southern Utah Home Care & Hospice accepts Medicare and other selected private insurances. Please call 800-748-4667 for insurance coverage in your area.

Hospice Care

We accept Medicare and other selected private insurances. Medicare pays for hospice care if you or your loved one meets the following criteria:

A patient elects hospice care and waives any rights to other curative benefits related to the terminal illness.

A patient's physician and our Medical Director certify that a patient's life expectancy is under six months.

Southern Utah Home Care & Hospice is a home health care agency, offering both medical and hospice home care to families throughout southern Utah and northern Arizona. Our service area includes St. George with additional offices in Cedar City. Enterprise, Hildale, Hurricane, and Kanab, serving Washington County, Iron County, Mohave County, Coconino County, Beaver County, and Kane County. Other cities in the region that we service include are Modena, Summit, Newcastle, Glendale, Alton, and Orderville. Services include nursing care, physical and occupational therapy, post-hospital rehabilitation, extended care, wound care, home health aides, medical social workers, medication management, senior care and hospice care. Home Hospice caregivers provide pain & symptom control, palliative care, spiritual support, hygiene care, light housekeeping, and grief and bereavement counseling, with physician oversight.
