Home Health Services, Inc. began in 1990 as a single home health agency originated by the late Dr. Garth Last and Betty McDonald, RN, both seasoned health care veterans.  The company motto, “A Tradition of Caring,” personifies the long-term health care careers of the founders.

During the first year of operations the company established a main office in St. George and branches in Cedar City, Hurricane, and Kanab.  Later branches were established in Enterprise and Hildale.  From these offices Southern Utah Home Care & Hospice serves Washington, Kane, and Iron counties in southwestern Utah.

In subsequent years the company established offices in Las Vegas, Nevada, Mesquite, Nevada and Prescott, Arizona.  Southern Nevada Home Health Care serves the greater Las Vegas area.  Virgin Valley Home Care & Hospice serves Mesquite, Logandale, Overton, Glendale, Bunkerville, and the surrounding small communities in Nevada as well as Beaver Dam, Littlefield and other remote communities in the northwest corner of Arizona.  Granite Mountain Home Care & Hospice in Arizona serves the greater Prescott area and the surrounding rural communities in Yavapai County.
