History

Southern Utah Home Care & Hospice was organized in December of 1990 with offices located in St. George, Hurricane, Kanab, Cedar City, Enterprise, Hildale, Utah. The company serves Iron, Washington, Beaver, Kane, Mohave, and Coconino county with quality home health care and hospice services.

Southern Utah Home Care & Hospice merged with the Professional Healthcare family of companies in January 2010. Professional Healthcare is a leading provider of home nursing, rehabilitation therapy, hospice, and personal caregiver services in four western states. Corporate headquarters are located in Walnut Creek, CA.

Southern Utah Home Care & Hospice is a home health care agency, offering both medical and hospice home care to families throughout southern Utah and northern Arizona. Our service area includes St. George with additional offices in Cedar City. Enterprise, Hildale, Hurricane, and Kanab, serving Washington County, Iron County, Mohave County, Coconino County, Beaver County, and Kane County. Other cities in the region that we service include are Modena, Summit, Newcastle, Glendale, Alton, and Orderville. Services include nursing care, physical and occupational therapy, post-hospital rehabilitation, extended care, wound care, home health aides, medical social workers, medication management, senior care and hospice care. Home Hospice caregivers provide pain & symptom control, palliative care, spiritual support, hygiene care, light housekeeping, and grief and bereavement counseling, with physician oversight.
